A place for my knitting ramblings ...

My favorite things: 2005

* Kicking off the New Year in London with wonderful friends

* Learning how to knit (thanks Maya)

*Skiing in Harbor Springs with Pat

* Participating in the Race for the Cure

* Finishing my degree & getting a job that I truly enjoy!

* Listening, reading and playing with all my new toys after a most generous holiday!

I hope that you have a safe and festive New Year's Eve celebration.

It looks like you had a super year and a wonderful Christmas, too! That Mix Tape book looks fantastic. I hope all your hand-knitted-gift recipients were thrilled with their presents.

Okay, so I'm being over-commenter. But I just noticed you're reading Nick Hornby's A Long Way Down. I don't know how it's working out for you in print form, but the audio recording I'm listening to right now has me laughing out loud. Are you loving it as well?

I'm so glad learning to knit was one of your favorite things about 2005. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for years to come.

My brother gave my other brother the mix tape book. I checked it out and it looked pretty interesting.

I think you should have posted the New Year's pictures of your excellent dancing, of the waiter that night, and of the conga line.
