I'm a Mrs!!!

Sorry for the delay ... since the last time I blogged: I have gotten married, gone to California & Mexico, thrown a bridal shower, kicked off this year's summer reading program at the library, written about a million thank you notes. Life is busy, but very good.

Can I tell you a little bit about the wedding? It was the most amazing day EVER. Matt & I put tons of time into planning our wedding and reception, and I think that all of our hard work paid-off. It was just as we imagined it. The perfect day ...

We drove all over Detroit in a trolley with our photographer and took pictures.

We had a gorgeous setting at the Gem Theatre in downtown Detroit.

We were married (by our friend,Peter) on the stage in front of the beautiful art deco set. He did a fantastic job!

We were surrounded by friends and family.

We had a beautiful & delicious wedding cake (buttercream frosting, yellow cake with hazelnut mousse) from the Home Bakery in Rochester.
